Nokia Solutions & Networks engaged Alkira to support the Telecom and IT Services infrastructure renewal program, end-to-end service management transition planning.

Alkira scope

• Definition of requirements and expectations for technology suppliers in the areas of tools, processes, governance and transition planning, including mapping between vendor proposals and requirements.
• Analysis of technology supplier responses against the requirements and scope negotiation.
• Performed a Lessons Learned and Risk Assessment for the implementation of the new supplier landscape.
• Development of an integrated transition plan across all service providers.
• Developed the service readiness approach to ensure that when Business Services (and underlying IT Services) go-live that the operational support processes, tools and people are ready and capable of delivering seamless end-to-end support.
